iPhone or Droid?
Okay, I know that this is a HUGE debate about iPhone or Droid, every time you see someone with either of the phones you hear them talking it up. What does every one else think? I personally think the iPhone is better, people say Droid because there is more customization on them which is understandable, and people always talk up the Droid just saying it's better because of all these new things and gadgets, but does anyone think it's a little strange that the Droid came out AFTER the iPhone? So wouldn't the Droid be just a mimmic of the iPhone and then a few other interest points just to make it seem like it's better than the iPhone?

I personally feel that the entire andriod system is better then apples. The reason being is that andriod can do everything apple does but goes beyond it to. The andriod software and apple software are both easy to use, but with apple you are restricted by the software (meaning you cant install 3rd party apps without jailbreaking it). For some people who use the phones just for pre installed stuff thats fine but the expansion you can do with andriod compared to apple is byfar the biggest and most important difference to me. Also i have tested a iphone 4 with a driod x both on verizon running under the same wifi network and driod is a lot faster.

ReplyDeleteSo i personally think that i like the iphone better than the driod! Funny part about it though is that i dont own either :) i own a blackberry. My boyfriend owns the new iphone and i am absolutely in love with it. I never ever hear anyone say that they have a problem with the iphone but i have heard a selected few say that their droid froze or that the internet was working slow. I think if i were to get a new phone i would go with the iphone. I could have got the droid when my plan was up but i chose blackberry because verizon did not carry the iphone. I am kind of mad I did not have the patience to wait ha figures! I would go with the iphone :)
I would have to say the Iphone is better. I just think that Apple has a better idea of what they are doing with the product. Only thing I hate is that they are always coming out with better stuff so it stinks if you have the old technology. Also I heard that the Droid doesn't carry as many apps as the Apple store. I think that people who have Apple will always love and prefer their products compared to anything else while those that don't have it are just afraid to make the change.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to go with the iPhone over the Droid. I have used both of them a lot, and maybe its just because I used the iPhone first, but I prefer it. I think it is easier to use and it's hard to beat the original. I don't have either one of these phones either (as someone above said) but I have an iPod and it's basically the same thing as the iPhone. I don't think I would trade it in for anything.
ReplyDeleteI like to hear people's opinions about iPhone vs. droid because I am ready for an upgrade but can't make up my mind! I am familiar with the apple products because I have an iTouch but I don't know much about the android software. I do know that the iPhone 5 is supposed to come out this summer. It will be interesting to see how many people decide to buy it over the droids. I might just be one of those people!
ReplyDeleteLets try this one again since it didn't save last time. I am on the droid side of the debate after the recent release of the thunderbolt. The thunderbolt offers everything the droid offers and then some. After playing with both phones, I can definitely say that I believe the thunderbolt offers much more than the iphone.
